Rajbir Kaur is the Lead Physical Therapist and owner of Arise Physical Therapy. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, India, in 2011. After moving to the United States in 2012, she embarked on a rigorous credential evaluation process, which included two additional years of coursework to exceed the necessary qualifications.
Despite the challenges she faced and moments of doubt—asking herself, “Will I ever be a PT in the US?”—Rajbir's determination never wavered. In January 2016, the FCCPT evaluation recognized her degree as equivalent to a Master's in Physical Therapy in the United States, with credits approved by the FSBPT. Rajbir successfully passed her board exams and became a licensed Physical Therapist in February 2017.
Throughout her career, Rajbir has gained extensive experience working in various healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, rehab centers, and assisted living facilities. Her true passion lies in helping patients restore their quality of life, particularly those impacted by pain, injury, or disability. With a wealth of experience in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions, Rajbir's ultimate dream of becoming a Physical Therapist in the US has been achieved.
