Clinic Owner & Director of Physical Therapy
John Hendrickson, PT, was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy at a young age after witnessing his brother's recovery from a life-changing accident. His passion for the field grew as he recognized the power of exercise and hands-on manual therapy in helping individuals regain function and overcome pain.
In 1984, he founded the clinic to provide physicians with a direct referral option for high-quality physical therapy services. Over the years, the practice has evolved, with the entire SPORT staff embracing the same dedication and philosophy of care.
John earned his degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978 and has completed extensive postgraduate training in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, as well as injury prevention. He is a past president of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice Section of the APTA. Additionally, he has served as a physical therapy consultant for the Milwaukee Brewers.
